Teeth whitening involves bleaching the teeth to lighten their colour, either with one in office visit, or you taking home custom made trays to wear for a week.
Both ways have similar results, although the in-chair treatment is faster, it can cause more temporary sensitivity. Take home kits allow you to boost the colour by wearing the same trays again once every 6 months. After treatment, the teeth look a few shades whiter, but not usually bright white, which commonly requires veneers.
William’s teeth looked a bit yellow after his braces. He’s really happy with the results after bleaching.
Melanie wasn’t happy with the colour and crowding of her teeth. She can’t stop smiling after her Invisalign and whitening!
